While Mass Effect: Andromeda’s lack of a multiplayer beta isn’t the best news, there has been a positive announcement regarding the online element. BioWare’s Aaryn Flynn took to Twitter to confirm that this installment will handle multiplayer DLC maps in the same manner as Mass Effect 3. Additional maps will be periodically released for free. Mass Effect 3 received Resurgence, Rebellion, Earth, and Retaliation packs that, altogether, added seven maps and six map hazards.

In addition to the multiplayer update, the third entry in the Mass Effect: Andromeda Official Gameplay Series of videos has been released. In this over five minute video, BioWare talks about exploring Andromeda’s planets and making discoveries on some of the places our Pathfinders will explore.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will come to North American PlayStation 4s, Xbox Ones, and PCs on March 21, 2017. It will arrive in Europe on March 23, 2017.
