Capcom is offering more than just a shiny update with Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers with the first-person mode “Way of the Hado” and color edits. Here are more details on what’s new.
Way of the Hado features the basic “stage Mode” that requires you to clear various stages and an “Endless Mode” that lets you fight until your health drops to 0.
There’s even a “Training Mode” that lets you practice your Hadoken movements and other attacks using the Joy-Cons.
As you play through Way of the Hado, you’ll acquire “Growth Points” used to increase stats for Ryu. These stats are Vital, Attack, Speed, Guts, Defense, and Luck. By increasing his stats you’ll get to aim for higher scores.
The Gallery Mode offers over 1,400 illustrations from the art book, SF20: The Art of Street Fighter, and with its 250 dpi resolution, you’ll get to check out even the tiniest of text on the drawings.
And finally, the “Color Edit” function allows you to custom create your very own original colors for the characters. Using the touchscreen, you’ll get to mess around with different colors to customize a fighter’s looks. These characters can then be used on Arcade, Versus, and Online battles.
You can save up to 10 customized colors for each character.
