Greenlight Page Promises English Translation Of Dies Irae ~Amantes Amentes~

An English translation is in the works for Dies Irae ~Amantes Amentes~, a visual novel about a superhuman plot birthed by the machinations of evil men and women at the end of World War II.

Originally released in 2012 (as a collection of several other parts of the Dies Irae story), the game casts players as Ren, a young man in modern Japan, finds his life changed forever after the disappearance of a friend. It isn’t long after this that Ren gets caught up in strange events – events that connect to those sinister men and women from WWII.

Now known as Longinus Dreizehn Orden, these superpowered humans have returned after years spent in hiding. It is up to the player, as Ren, to decide how to stop the havoc they’re spreading, as well as who to grow closer to over the course of these horrible events.

The English release of Dies Irae ~Amantes Amentes~ will be offered in two parts, one following routes involving characters Kasumi and Marie, the other covering Kei and Rea. Both parts will feature enhanced effects, expanded artwork, and newer resolutions for modern computers.

Both parts of Dies Irae ~Amantes Amentes~ are projected to release in May of this year. Its developers are currently raising Greenlight votes as well as funding through Kickstarter.
