With a just a day to go until the New Year, Atlus shared a little tweet asking fans if they “believe in the Phantom Thieves of Hearts.”
あなたは 心の怪盗団 を信じますか? #ペルソナ5
— アトラス公式アカウント (@Atlus_jp) December 31, 2016
The above tweet asks “do you believe in the Phantom Thieves of Hearts?” with the three choices of “I do believe,” “I don’t believe,” and “My heart has been stolen.” Of this writing, the top is at 45%, middle at 11%, and bottom at 44% out of 13,078 votes.
What makes this interesting is that Persona 5 has already been out in Japan since September 15, so this is pretty out of left field for Japan. Either that, or someone over at Atlus began celebrating New Year’s a bit early.
Persona 5 is available in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game is headed to North America and Europe on April 4, 2017.
