SCE Japan Studio’s Ape Escape 2, which originally released back in 2002 for the PlayStation 2, is now available on the European PlayStation Store.

The game costs £7.99, but PlayStation Plus subscribers can get it for £5.99.

Here’s the official description for Ape Escape 2:

“Jimmy had ONE job – deliver a cargo of Monkey Pants to Monkey Park. But mixed up in the shipment was a batch of the intelligence-boosting Peak Point Helmets!

The good news – the monkeys all have pants on. This is a family game.

The bad news – sinister simian Specter has his intellect back, and is marshalling the monkeys to take over the world!

You better get to work, Jimmy…”

Ape Escape 2 is now available on the PlayStation Store.
