Catan Settling On PlayStation Network

Game Republic, you know the studio behind Dragon Ball Origins and Genji, made a PlayStation 3 version of Catan. Japan got it in 2008 and an English version was available last year on the Hong Kong store.

Looks like the PS3 version of Catan is finally leaving Asia. The ESRB just rated it “E” for everyone and noted Game Republic as the publisher.

When Game Republic announced Catan in Japan they also said other digital board games were in development for consoles. Shadow Hunters, Owner’s Choice, and Trick & Treat (a Halloween game) were slated for 2009. We haven’t heard about those since, but you can play them as flash games on Boardgame Republic.
