Next Nioh Demo Arrives On August 23, 2016

Koei Tecmo has taken to the PlayStation Blog to announce the next demo date for Nioh. From August 23-September 6, 2016, PlayStation 4 owners will be able to participate in the Nioh Beta demo.

The Nioh Beta demo will have a number of new features and items that weren’t present in the alpha. William Adams will be able to find new axes, hammers, katanas, and spears to use as he goes through both a new dojo and as-yet-unannounced stage. The former is for training, while the later is an authentic battle experience.

This Nioh update also took the time to introduce two of William’s allies. Our samurai friend will be aided by Hanzo Hattori, a ninja who’s head of his clan, will act as our guide through the game. Also, Ginchiyo Tachibana, wife of the Tachibana clan’s leader, Muneshige, will fight alongside William.

Nioh will come to the PlayStation 4 in 2016.
