Last Word, the unconventional RPG that uses conversation topics as weapons in a world of argument-based combat, has received a New Game + mode with a recent update.

This new mode will let players carry over Bow Tie Points (which let players equip more skills), unlocked skills, and experience, and will also allow players to skip over the game’s tutorials and various scenes at the end of the game. The can also choose to beat the game early by leaving the estate after Whitty gets ‘Immunity’.

Last Word is a game about conversationalists trying to get in the last word in a discussion. By collecting topics and choosing the tone of chat, players can one-up their opponents as they try to discover the source of Professor Chet Chatters’ ability to always get in the last word.
