4-Player Co-Op Shmup Stardust Galaxy Warriors Gets New Modes, Characters With Update

A free update for four-player co-op shmup Stardust Galaxy Warriors promises to add visual and performance polish, a new mode, and new challenges.

This updated version, called Stardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax, adds a new playable character. It also adds New Game +, which will let players carry on their progress from the campaign into a harder mode that tosses in more enemies and gives the bosses new features.

The update will also improve general performance and visual, revise the game’s upgrade system, and tweak some enemies and bosses.

Stardust Galaxy Warriors lets four players choose their own unique mechs and pilots, battling across the cosmos in various modes the players can customize to suit their mood. The update will be available on August 19.
