Sonic Team Announces New Sonic Game Coming In 2017

This past week was Sonic the Hedgehog’s 25th anniversary. To celebrate, a special event was held in Tokyo, Japan during which Sonic Team head Takahshi Iizuka officially announced that a new game was in the works. The new Sonic game will release next year and additional details will be revealed during the anniversary party on July 22nd. [Thanks, NeoGAF.]
