With Valkyria Chronicles 2 only weeks away, Sega released a trailer summarizing the portable sequel.

This video goes over the story which has Avan, a student in Lanseal Military Academy, fighting the newly formed Gallian Revolutionary Army. Valkyria Chronicles 2 uses the BLiTZ battle system from the PlayStation 3 game and includes more jobs. The trailer mentions thirty-plus soldier types based on the five core classes. Branching job classes is one of the new features in Valkyria Chronicles 2.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 is due on January 21 in Japan. An international release is slated for summer 2010.
