Players can choose to lead a disgraced cop back to life by taking that one final case, or take him deeper into ruin, in isometric CRPG No Truce With the Furies.
The developers of No Truce With the Furies class the game’s genre as ‘Fantastic Realism’, seeking a more realistic world and abilities for its gameplay. Players can take on skills that will let them develop ideas, better tune their nervous system, or act in ridiculous ways, all while exploring a normal world filled with possible actions.
The game will also use the Thought Cabinet system, where the protagonist will collect thoughts and ideas they’ve found while exploring and talking to other characters. These ideas can eventually become permanent beliefs that will affect the protagonist in various ways.
No Truce With the Furies is expected to release at the end of this year.
