The My Nyan character’s not only have cosmetic differences, but each one can behave differently. First, you get to choose the character’s face shape. Then, you decide on its color. You determine what its eyes look like, if it’s wearing a hat, pick its outfit, can go through different tails, and add accessories. You also choose which tribe it belongs to, as it isn’t automatically a Charming-type, like the standard Jibanyan. Finally, you can choose its abilities, like its Inspirit and Soultimate attack.

My Nyan has been announced alongside some other Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi and Tempura features. Remember the first game’s Terror Time, when oni would appear at night to attack your character? The third game has Zombie Night, where you have to survive a night against zombie Yo-kai by using a special hammer. The US region in-game will also have FBY agents Murder and Kakuri investigating mysterious Yo-kai incidents for the Y-Files. Players will also be able to find treasure maps to hunt down treasure chests that require keys to open. There will even be a dancing minigame, in which Inaho Misora joins up with an idol group called NyaKB. Finally, Level-5 hinted at a new Dream Link mode, involving some sort of drill, and bonuses for linking Sushi and Tempura games together.
