BioWare has issued an update regarding Mass Effect: Andromeda. Initially, the game had a holiday 2016 release window. It’s new launch estimate is early 2017.

The next major Mass Effect: Andromeda update is set for the 2016 EA PLAY press conference. The game will be discussed during the one hour media presentation, which will begin at 1pm PT/3pm CT/4pm ET on June 12, 2016.

The Mass Effect: Andromeda update from Aaryn Flynn, BioWare’s General Manager, also goes over some of the game’s features. To start, it runs on the Frostbite engine. It will be set in the Andromeda galaxy, where people will have new planets to explore and characters to encounter. Players will apparently be able to decide where their party goes and how they get from place to place.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
