Dead or Alive Xtreme 3’s Free-To-Play Version Is Launching On May 16

Koei Tecmo announced that Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is getting a free-to-play version on May 16. Similar to Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters, it’s a free version that will let you check out most of the modes.

 

In Dead or Alive Xtreme 3’s free-to-play version, you’ll get to play as Kasumi at the resort island. All of the modes, including all the activities, Owner Mode, photo sessions, will be available to try out; however, you’ll need to purchase the other eight characters and Casino via DLC.

 

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3’s free-to-play version will launch on May 16 and will be available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. In order to acquire the other characters other than Kasumi, you’ll need to pay 1,200 yen on PS4 and 1,100 yen on PS Vita for each additional character.

 

Once you purchase the characters, you’ll get to buy DLC outfits and more. Again, you can also carry over your save data to the full retail version, should you decide to buy it after trying out the free version.

 

The Casino feature can also be purchased for 2,000 yen on PS4 and same price for PS Vita. Tax not included for the prices mentioned above.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will is currently available in Japan and Asia for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. You can purchase the Asia version with English subtitles at Play-Asia
