A Look At Ys VIII’s Box Art And Premium Box Edition

Amazon Japan has added more to its product page for Falcom’s upcoming action RPG, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, with a look at its box art and Premium Box edition.

As previously reported, the Premium Box edition includes an original DLC of “Adol’s Battle Armor,” which is Adol’s Silver Armor costume from the first-generation Ys games.

 It also includes the “Adol Manuscript” that has been translated in Japanese. The above is a sample image of the physical product that comes with the 8,800 yen Premium Box edition, which also includes an “Ys Limited Metal Plate” that uses the series’ illustration beauty as its motif.

First-print copies of both the standard and Premium Box versions include a mini-original soundtrack shown above.

Amazon Japan also snuck in a first screenshot of Dogi, Adol’s partner who traveled around the world with him four years ago. You can read more on Dogi and the latest in our earlier report.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will release in Japan on July 21, 2016 for PlayStation Vita. The PlayStation 4 version will release in 2017.
