Last week, Japan had several new releases which included two big titles in Pokkén Tournament for Wii U and Digimon World: Next Order for PS Vita, along with several rereleases of games with cheaper prices. Here is Media Create’s weekly sales data for video game software and hardware from the week of March 14 through March 20, 2016.

Starting with the #1 spot that went with The Pokémon Company’s Pokkén Tournament for Wii U at 69,675 units sold in its first week. These numbers aren’t exactly that high for any Pokémon game, but it’s always impressive seeing a Wii U title hit the top spot. On the hardware side of things, Pokkén Tournament has helped the Wii U sell 8,369 units more than last week, making it about a 151% increase.

Following in #2 is Digimon World: Next Order with 64,218 units sold in its first week. The sales number is a little lower than the series’ previous title in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth which sold 76,760 copies in its first week on PS Vita in Japan.

As for the other new titles, most of them consist of “Greatest Hits” versions with Battlefield 4: Premium Edition at #7 with 8,771 units sold, Animal Crossing: New Leaf (Happy Price Selection) at #11 with 6,931 units moved, Senran KaguraL Estival Versus Sakura Edition at #14 with 6,089 units sold in its first week, and finally, Yakuza 0: Place of Oath (New Price Version) at #20 with 4,257 copies sold in its debuting week.

We also had one more new title that released last week with Design Factory and Otomate’s visual novel Wand of Fortune R, which saw 4,470 copies sold in its first week, placing it at #17 on the list.

It’s also worth noting that The Division is continuing to do rather well with 23,130 units sold in its second week, putting its sales up to 103,833 copies sold in Japan in less than two weeks, which is pretty impressive for any shooter-type game not named Star Wars Battlefront.

On a side note, it’s always interesting to see how well Splatoon and Minecraft tend to stick around, with the two respectively at the #5 and #6 spots for the week. Monster Hunter X and Yo-kai Watch Busters hung around them for a while, but have been slipping towards the bottom of the list as of late.

And with that, the top-20 software sales chart for last week is as follows:
