Santa Claus Makes A Dragon Quest IX Cameo

A jolly guy in a red suit is visiting the world of Dragon Quest IX via a free downloadable quest. His name is Mr. Claus and he lives on a frozen island in the north.

Mr. Claus cares for a horse and is looking for a certain item. You, being a hero, step up to the task and go on a quest to find it.

Neat to see Square Enix making seasonal downloadable content. Reminds me of the Santa cameo in Secret of Mana too. Now to wait and see if this quest along with the dozens of others come to North America whenever Dragon Quest IX launches here. If you have the Japanese version you can get Mr. Claus’ Horse on November 27.
