Square Enix revealed on their official website that Final Fantasy IX is finally headed to PC after 15 years of waiting since its original release on PlayStation. It’s also getting a smartphone release on Android and iPhone.
The upcoming port for Final Fantasy IX will have high-definition graphics, and the “boost” functions that were in Final Fantasy VII‘s smartphone version, which allows you to make adjustments such as “no encounters” and “max Gil.” There will also be newly added achievements, auto-save, high speed mode, and more.
