Vaan Steals The Show In Dissidia Final Fantasy’s Latest Arcade Trailer

Square Enix uploaded their latest arcade trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy with a look at Vaan, the orphan street thief from Rabanastre, of Final Fantasy XII.

Vaan is a Unique-type character, and is the only character from the entire roster with two HP Attacks as a set for battle. The more hits he lands, the more effective the HP Attacks get, and it adds an extra “Fusion Skill” to it.

Additionally, his EX Skill called “Dread Note” makes it so that as long as you’re pressing buttons while playing Vaan, his Brave numbers become “set” for a fixed amount of time, meaning the number doesn’t lower when he takes Brave Attacks. You can say that he’s a specialist in HP Attacks.

The above gives us a closer look at Vaan’s abilities, which consists of a variety of sword and magic attacks, along with some Fusion Skills thrown in the mix.
