Red Hook Studios has announced that its side-scrolling and turn-based dungeon crawler Darkest Dungeon is heading to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in spring 2016.

Previously the studio confirmed that Darkest Dungeon would be leaving Steam Early Access and coming out for PC on January 19th.

Darkest Dungeon focuses on bringing the possible psychological stresses of adventuring in grim dungeons to its characters. As such, they all have fears that will see their mental health deteriorate if provoked. Not to mention that they can catch diseases too.

This is why the biggest enemy in Darkest Dungeon isn’t the creeps and ghouls that you fight against but the inner turmoil of your characters. You need to look after their wellbeing as much as you can, both physically and mentally.
