Bandai Namco has released a new Tales of Zestiria launch trailer that makes its lead character, Sorey, out to be some sort of savior. Which is rather accurate, seeing as how he can see Seraphim, carries the Divine Records, and act as the Shepherd. The trailer begins with animated cutscenes showing the state of the war, then goes on to show Sorey with his friends both in and out of battle.

Particularly notable are Sorey’s combinations. Beginning at the 1:18 mark, the trailer shows Sorey combining with Seraphim like Mikleo. This changes Sorey’s appearance and gives him access to different artes.

Tales of Zestiria is coming to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC on October 20. It is only available digitally for $49.99 on the PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. PlayStation 4 owners can choose between $59.99 digital or physical copies.
