Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book is just about a month away from release in Japan, and Famitsu shared the latest on the game with a look at how you might spend your days with Sophie and friends.

In order to bring back Plachta’s memories, Sophie will work hard everyday to become better at alchemy. Here’s a little journal entry that gives us a rundown on how Sophie spent her day.

Morning:

“Today I’m going somewhere far away with Monika and Oskar. I wonder if I’ll get to harvest something.”

Traveling on the world map depletes LP so it’ll build up some fatigue. You’ll want to be sure to have plenty of LP when traveling long distances. Again, you might occasionally find some surprises while moving about.

Noon:

“We’re at the objective area! Now, let’s go harvesting. I also thought of a new recipe using the material we’re gathering!

After harvesting an item from one spot, it’ll respawn after some time. And if you continue harvesting the same spot you’ll get more items.

Evening:

“I’m going to synthesize using the items we harvested and the new recipe! Hmm, maybe I can bring back Plachta’s memories.”

For synthesizing, the number of items placed in the panel will have an effect on its quality improvement. Again, the more you place in the same color panels will increase your chances for higher quality.

Night:

“They say that there are items that you can only get at night! I’m a little tired, but let’s go outside a little…”

There are some valuable items that you’ll find out there only at night; however, you’ll need to be careful as there are more monsters that appear at night. It’ll be important to keep an eye out on your LP and your party condition while going out during the night time.

Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book will release in Japan on November 19, 2015 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
