Armikrog was supposed to come out on August 18th. But it had issues that desperately needed to be addressed. Hence, it was delayed until further notice. Now, all of a sudden, it’s out.
You can pick up the standard version of the game for Windows, Mac, and Linux at $24.99. But if you pay $29.99 you can get the soundtrack thrown in as part of the deluxe edition. It’s available on various digital stores listed on its website. It should also be coming to PlayStation 4 and Wii U at some point.
Armikrog is the latest game from the creator of Earthworm Jim and is considered a successor to cult classic 1996 point-and-click adventure The Neverhood. It, too, is a point-and-click adventure game made out of clay and stop-motion animation.
It has you following space explorer Tommynaut and his blind alien talking dog Beak-Beak. You’ll need to help them unravel the mysteries of the fortress that they trapped in by exploring and solving puzzles.
