Perhaps inspired by Cromartie High School, Kenka Bancho 4: One Year War takes place in a delinquent high school with non stop fighting. There are 300 opponents for you to face in classrooms and hallways. Even bathrooms are filled with brawlers.
You control Yuuto, a hot blooded kid from Crimson South High class 1-A, who wants to be on the top of the food chain. Yuuto has a deadly mince beam attack that initiates smashtalk, a system that has players press buttons to put together a taunt. Create the right insult and you get the first strike. Stumble and you get smacked. Kenka Bancho 4’s smashtalk system will be revised and the game will have new costumes. So far we haven’t seen anything as wacky as the bananaman outfit yet.
Kenka Bancho 4: One Year War is slated for release on the PSP in spring 2010. Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble, the first localized game in the series, comes out here next week.
