Sony Japan Opens New PlayStation Vita Custom Engraving Service

Sony Japan opened a new service on July 20th that allows you to engrave a newly purchased PlayStation Vita or PlayStation TV (thanks DualShockers).

It costs 500 yen per engraved letter and over on the service’s website there is a testing option so you can see what your message would look like on your PS Vita or PS TV. You’re able to choose from a range of fonts as well as the precise spot that the message will be engraved to.

The store suggests that the service is ideal for when gifting one of the PlayStation devices to someone for birthday or Christmas, adding their initials, full name, or a message such as “Happy Birthday.”
