Square Enix announced the latest Dragon Quest game, with the Minecraft-like “block-make RPG” called Dragon Quest Builders: Revive Alefgard for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.

Dragon Quest Builders is set in “Alefgard,” which is actually the name of the geographical setting of the very first Dragon Quest game. Alefgard has been desolated by the Dragonlord, and it’ll be up to you to revive its land.

You’ll get to freely “create” the vast lands of Alefgard by using various blocks, as the story unfolds as you do so in the genre they call a “block-make RPG.” We’ll have more details as they are revealed.

Dragon Quest Builders will release in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita this winter.
