Starting this week anime titles from Geneon and Funimation will be available to purchase on the Xbox Live Video Marketplace if you are in the USA. The first batch of shows are:
Guyver
Trinity Blood
Gunslinger Girl
Speed Grapher
Basilisk
Saiyuki
Kiddy Grade
Gankutsuou – The Count of Monte Cristo
Desert Punk
Last Exile
Rumbling Hearts
Galaxy Railways
Gilgamesh
Lupin the 3rd Part II
Also the Genon dub of Akira will be online to rent in HD. There is still one unanswered mystery that BatAttack asked when Microsoft announced their partnership, will fans get Japanese and English voice tracks? I know this is important to fans and it could be the make it or break it factor between buying episodes of Last Exile on DVD or over the Xbox Live Video Marketplace. I haven’t gotten a response yet, but we’re about to find out when a tidal wave of anime titles appear later this week.
