Since yesterday’s Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition announcements, a few more details have emerged regarding Vergil, Lady, and Trish, who are now a playable character in the game.

Capcom say that Vergil will be available to play as in any mission in the game. He’s largely based on his Devil May Cry 3 appearance in terms of moves, with moves from DmC Devil May Cry having been added to flesh out his new moveset. Vergil also has a new “Concentration” mechanic, which makes his attacks get more powerful the more flawlessly he fights.

Meanwhile, Trish’s moveset completely ignores the idea of switching weapons, and instead uses the Sparda sword, her pistols, and her bare hands. Capcom say that Trish allows one to fight with fewer buttons. She’s playable in Dante’s missions.

Finally, Lady specializes in long-range combat using firearms. Her signature weapon is called the Kalina Ann, and has a grappling hook that lets her traverse environments similarly to Nero. As you might assume, she’s playable in Nero’s missions.

Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition will be released for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 this Summer.
