Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart has characters that parody different video game series. Estelle is riff on Dragon Quest. In Sting’s game, she is searching for legendary weapons and special attack is a Dragon Quest gag.

Even the special attacks in Hyperdevotion Noire are jokes. Characters can turn into zombies, pixilated forms, four eyes (wearing glasses), and blocks of tofu.

Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart comes out on February 24 in North America and February 27 in Europe.
