Persona 5 Newspaper Teaser Shows A Masked “Phantom”

The Persona Super Live Concert takes place later tonight in Japan, but today’s print of major Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun features a little teaser for the event. [Thanks, @Satohk1.]

The advertisement on the newspaper reads:

Notice,

Tonight, I shall visit the Nippon Budokan.

The Phantom.

While we’re not exactly sure who the masked character is on the ad, it looks like it could be the protagonist of the game, or at least someone with a similar hairstyle. 

Additionally, upon closer inspection to the poster for the concert, you can see what appears to be the Persona 5 protagonist holding a similar mask as the one held by “The Phantom”

Perhaps we’ll find out more during the next unannounced segment that is listed as “?????” on February 5th, at 4:00am PST/7:00am EST.

Persona 5 is in development for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
