Team Xtender has some juicy tidbits for those of you who want to hook your PSP to your TV. The package is set to launch at the end of October as a "value pack".
The value pack includes:
1 X PSP2TV docking Station
1 X Deluxe AV + S-Video Cable
1 X Silver Face Plate
1 X Crystal Blue Face Plate
1 X PSP2TV complete installation kit
What’s the price of all this? So far one retailler has a preorder price of $119.99. Kind of pricey just to watch your UMD collection on the big screen. Well at least you won’t get eyestrain when you’re trying to get to the 100th level of Lumines.
We also have a new screen shot of the PSP2TV in action. You can clearly see that there are two video modes 16:9 and 4:3. So you can enter in widescreen. A smart additon. If you look closely you can also see a Playstation controller dangling on the end. The screen here is supposedly close to the final product without the S-Video connector.
The real question is how hard is this thing going to be to install? Opening up the PSP is risky business. Here’s another question are there really enough games for the PSP that people need to play on the their TV to make this worth getting?
