Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is coming to the Wii U Virtual Console in Europe this week, Nintendo have announced. The game will cost €6.99 / £6.29 and will be available on Thursday, January 1st.

On the same day, Nintendo will also release F-Zero: GP Legend on the Wii U Virtual Console. GP Legend is based on an anime of the same name and was developed by Suzak. It, too, will cost €6.99 / £6.29.

Nintendo have not announced release dates for either game on the Virtual Console in North America, although if you were one of the Nintendo 3DS “ambassadors” that bought the system early in its life, you can play Sacred Stones on your 3DS.
