Marvelous AQL announced that they’re about to reach a total of 300,000 copies shipped for Harvest Moon: A New Beginning, and in commemoration of its milestone, they’re giving a discount for the digital version of the game in Japan.
The campaign for the 300,000 copies shipment deal will start in Japan on December 24, 2014 up until January 7, 2015, where the game that normally costs 5,184 yen on the Nintendo eShop will be discounted by more than half off at 2,500 yen.
Additionally, fans can check out the official website to download a background for their PC or smartphone, originally drawn by manga artist Igusa Matsuyama who is known for his character design in the Harvest Moon (now Story of Seasons) games and some of its manga.
Update: A previous version of this report referred to the game as Story of Seasons, but that name change wasn’t made until the Harvest Moon game after this one. The game in question is actually Harvest Moon: A New Beginning.
