Coffee Stain Studios has revealed that the 1.2 patch for Goat Simulator is coming out on November 20th, and is known as “Goat MMO Simulator,” with a new trailer.

It will be a free expansion available to everyone who owns Goat Simulator, and Coffee Stain considers this to be its way of saying thank you to everyone that has supported them.

What this new patch adds should be quite obvious by the title “Goat MMO Simulator,” but to clarify, it includes a new online fantasy world that you’ll have to login to, and once you do, you can run around with other online goats.

As the trailer above details, there will be dozens of quests to complete, enemies to defeat and get experience from, a level cap of 101, and NPCs to meet and butt around. It also has faction warfare between goats and sheep, as well as five different playable classes: Warrior, Rogue, Magician, Hunter, and Microwave (on legs).

There are mermaids, but with fish heads and human legs, rather than the other way round as is usual. There are small villages with people wandering around with names and lifebars above their heads. You’ll also find swords in stones, a bumbling Dumblebore the Grey in Twistram, and elves and orcs.

Make sure you’ve already bought Goat Simulator on Steam for $9.99 if you want to play it with this new content.
