During the previous NicoNico Live for Tales of Zestiria, we got to see a big collaboration crossover with Neon Genesis Evangelion. In the latest livestream, Namco showed off some extra little tidbits that will be in the upcoming game.

Bandai Namco and producer Hideo Baba started off the Zestiria talks with the latest trailers and footage showing off the two latest characters in the psychotic assassin Renard, and the lone wolf girl with a sharp tongue, named Simone. You can read more about the two characters in our earlier report.

Next, they showed off some of the accessories that will be in Tales of Zestiria.

Similar to past games of the series, the accessories can be worn on the characters and they’ll also show up wearing them in the cut scenes.

During the footage, Baba and the others shared a good laugh while showing off a scene with Alisha, where she says that she can finally see Seraphs now, while wearing the swirly glasses.

The above is a look at a “Normin”. They’re known as the “Normin Seraphs” and can be found around the world. Sorey will find them scattered around the lands of his journey, and finding them will be beneficial as well.

Normins aren’t exactly as powerful as your regular Seraphs, but they’re quite the helpful little creatures, that will always be there to lend a hand to the Seraphs. The little creature on Edna’s umbrella is also a Normin that speaks to her.

The Normins can practically be found anywhere, from the edge of cliffs to the corners of volcanic areas. Baba said that there are a bunch of them to find, and part of the fun will be seeing how many you can find out there.

Tales of Zestiria will release in Japan on January 22, 2015 for PlayStation 3.
