Tomodachi Life Shipments Reach 1.24 Million In The West

Tomodachi Life has shipped 1.24 million copies in the U.S. and Europe, Nintendo revealed in an earnings report today. Meanwhile, counting shipments in Japan, it brings total worldwide shipments to 3.12 million.

 

The sales across the U.S. and Europe are rather impressive, given what a quirky game Tomodachi Life is, and the bizarre manner in which Nintendo announced its Western release. It looks like embracing the game’s zany personality was the right call.
