One of the more interesting Touch Generation titles Nintendo released in Japan is Magic Taizen, a collection of magic tricks for the DS. Unlike other DS titles it comes in a large Electroplankton sized box and it’s bundled with a deck of playing cards. Before Nintendo made it big in the video game business they manufactured playing cards and this special deck of cards has Barbara the Bat, the mascot from Daigasso Band Brothers as the Joker. Another interesting flyer Magic Taizen comes with is a brochure for the Nintendo Wii. It’s dated around the same time as the Wii’s launch and it was a clever pack in to inform the non gamer audience that Magic Taizen is designed for about Nintendo’s new console.
