Gust recently announced a PlayStation Vita port, Atelier Escha & Logy Plus, the series’ first game with two protagonists. 4Gamer gives us a first look at the game’s upcoming portable version, which adds new costumes and DLCs from its PlayStation 3 counterpart.
In Atelier Escha & Logy Plus, there will be additional episodes that will depict the story between Escha and Logy that wasn’t told in the original PlayStation 3 version. It will also share more about a certain “promise”.
The above is a look at Nio Altugle, who also appeared in Atelier Ayesha and Atelier Shallie. She’ll be a party member in Atelier Escha & Logy Plus, which makes us wonder what kind of battle style she’ll have in combat.
Since Escha & Logy Plus will include past DLC, that means it’ll also include the additional characters that can participate as party members, including Wilbell voll Erslied, Katla Larchica, and the brilliant Micie Sun Mussemburg.
Characters aren’t the only past extra features that are added to the mix, as other DLC will be included, in addition to some extra tough boss fights.
Another thing to look forward to are all the new costumes. While we haven’t seen too many of the new ones that the PlayStation Vita version will include, Gust say that there will be plenty, including some new ones for Logy.
First-print copies of the game will include a download code for a new costume. With past first-print costume bonuses in consideration, we’ll likely see something special for Atelier Escha & Logy Plus.
Atelier Escha & Logy Plus will release in Japan on January 22, 2015 for 5,800 on PlayStation Vita. The limited edition version will also be available for 8,800 yen plus tax.
