Super Smash Bros. For 3DS Sells 1 Million In Its First Week

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS has sold over 1 million copies in Japan, Nintendo announced today. The game was released this past Saturday (September 13th) and achieved that figure in its first week, including download sales.

 

Additionally, Nintendo said that retail shipments for the game crossed the 1 million mark at the end of last week as well.

 

Super Smash Bros. is the latest to join the ranks of other games that have sold 1 million copies on the Nintendo 3DS in their first week. These other titles include Monster Hunter 4, Pokémon X/Y and Yo-Kai Watch 2: Head/Founder.
