Famitsu revealed another Sting game this week and since it’s not tied to Dept. Heaven it’s bound to get less attention. Hexyz Force is a PSP game set in a brand new world torn between light and dark.

Priestess Cecilia leads the light side and sword master Revenant is in charge of the dark legion. The world’s balance changes depending on your actions. One of the early choices you have is picking which characters you want to side with. You actually play both sides, but the order determines what happens to the world. Ultimately, your decisions will affect the ending of the game when the two groups unite.

Hexyz Force has a command battle system with three characters and three rows. You place party members in the front, middle or rear which alters the amount of damage they take. When the force burst meter fills up you can do flashy special techniques to defeat monsters and reap force points, used to power up weapons and skills, faster.

Hexyz Force is slated to come out in Japan on November 12 with Atlus as the publisher. Since Hexyz Force isn’t a based on an established series it’s cheaper than Yggdra Unison. This game costs 5,229 yen ($56) while a copy of Yggdra Unison runs for 6,279 yen ($67).
