Atelier Shallie Has A Free New Area, Escha Added As Paid Downloadable Content

Gust has an update for Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea. The PlayStation 3 game will get a new Abyss area on July 31. This region has rare items and potent ingredients to forage. The catch is you’ll have to fight tough enemies roaming in the Abyss to get these goodies. You can explore the Abyss if you reached the final chapter of Atelier Shallie.

Abyss will be free to download along with swimwear costumes for Shallistera and Shallotte. However, swimsuit costumes for Miruca, Jurie, Wilbell, Katla, Linca, and Escha are paid downloadable content.

Linca and Katla’s costumes are 103 yen each.

The other outfits are 206 yen a piece.

Escha is a paid DLC character that costs 515 yen. You need to be after the free part from Chapter 5 to get her. In battle, Escha can heal characters with an apple tart.

Solle Grumman also costs 515 yen and is available at the same point Escha is. He is a close friend of the homunculus and has some kind of cooperative attack.

The first round of Atelier Shallie downloadable content will be available in Japan on July 31.
