Previously Sega announced they acquired the rights to make a video game based on the upcoming Iron Man movie. Now Sega picked up the rights to develop games based on Marvel’s Hall of Fame franchises, which includes The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America. Sega will have an Incredible Hulk game ready when the film comes out next year. Games based on Captain America and Thor will come out in the future, but it has not been determined if these games will be based on the upcoming movies or the comics. Sega is rapidly moving into the movie business with an upcoming Golden Compass game, the Aliens license and last year’s Charlotte’s Web game. With all of these Hollywood rights I want to see Sega make some crossover games. Sonic versus Marvel’s Hall of Fame and Jet Set Radio where you tag aliens could be promising mash ups.
Sega teams up with Marvel, Captain America game in the pipeline
