Monster Hunter Freedom is a social experience in Asia. Gamers congregate in fast food joints like McDonalds and huddle around multiplayer Monster Hunter games. Capcom’s Europe division hopes to spark a similar phenomenon with their Monster Hunter Gathering Hall on 121 Charing Cross Road in London.
A copy of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is your ticket to enter The Gathering Hall. Capcom Europe plans to offer exclusive quest downloads and teach new players how to hunt dinosaurs at the venue. When the developers come to Europe they’ll hang out at the Gathering Hall.
The club opens on Friday, July 3rd at 12PM and it will be open seven days a week for an unspecified time. Even if Capcom only keeps The Gathering Hall open for a month this is a huge promotion. Arguably, the largest promotion for Monster Hunter outside of Japan.
