That was quick. Falcom, who make the Legend of Heroes series, had the social game bandwagon in September last year with The Legend of Heroes: Trails of a Dream. Unfortunately, they’ve already announced that they are shutting the mobile game down, come May 7th. (Thanks, Social Game Info)

Like regular social games, players can recruit card versions of characters such as Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky’s Estelle Bright, or sacrifice them to each other to level them up. Players can complete the game’s original story or go head on against other players in arena mode. You can also combine different members together in a support team, which potentially unlocks different sorts of skills. The game has characters from both Trails in the Sky as well as Trails of Zero.

Until it shuts down, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of a Dream can still be played from its main site here.
