Last week, Namco Bandai released J-Stars Victory Vs. for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in Japan. The game sold 118,240 copies on the PS3 and another 97,821 copies on the Vita.

Japanese sales tracker Media Create reports that the PS3 version of the game sold through 86.55% of its shipment, while the Vita version sold through 89.25% of its shipment. For a multiplatform release, the Vita version did well, Media Create say.

Additionally, further growth can be expected as well, Media Create feel. Given the sales of Jump Ultimate Stars on Nintendo DS, which went on to sell around 745,000 copies in total, J-Stars can be expected to increase its sales as well, particularly on Vita.

J-Stars Victory Vs. has not been announced for a western release yet.
