DeNA, operators of the Mobage games platform, have a knack for teaming up with interesting developers to help bring games their way. In the past, they’ve teamed up with Square Enix, Cygames, Media.Vision, Capcom and more. Next on their list—Crytek.

The developer behind Crysis and Far Cry is teaming up with DeNa to develop its first free-to-play mobile game, called The Collectables. The game runs on Cryengine technology, just like all of Crytek’s other games, and has you assemble a team of soldiers to deploy into combat.

Collectables is a 3D game, and Crytek say it features diverse enemy types and “game-changing rewards” to unlock. It’s slated for release in 2014 on iOS and Android devices.
