Three-way Fights Are Back In Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends

4Gamer have gotten their hands on Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends, and say we’ll see the return of three-way fights in the game, although we don’t see much of the mode. We do know, however, that you’ll be able to at least get some form of multi-officer ass-kicking going in challenge mode.

In the video above, the challenge mode shows off how you’ll be pitted against multiple foes at once, as well as some of the many and varied ways you can kill the poor schlebs during story mode who get in your way. Makes you wonder how anyone dared to go to war in the past if every side’s officers were so badass.

There’s also the tantalizing hint right at the start’s CG movie which suggests again that the three-way could be in the cards again, but again, footage on that front is limited.

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends will be out first on PlayStation 3 and Vita November 28th, and will come to PlayStation 4 as a launch title for Japan next February with Cross Save functionality.
