Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day is the fifth story in the anime anthology Short Piece and it’s actually a video game. You play as Ranko Tsukigime, an ordinary school girl by day and hitman by night.
Grasshopper Manufacture and Tokyo Jungle developer Crispy’s is making the side-scrolling action game. Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day makes colorful special effects appear when you defeat enemies.
Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day has animated movies made by Kamikaze Douga which created opening and ending movies for video games like Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, Persona for PSP, and Mega Man X7.
Oh, and the game isn’t all running. There are bike racing scenes too.
Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day is slated for release on January 16, 2014 and it includes the Short Piece movies on the Blu-ray disc too.
