BlazBlue: Chronophantasma Tournament Shows Off Some Slick Moves

While Arc System Works’ upcoming PlayStation 3 version of BlazBlue: Chronophantasma will becoming out later next month, the arcade version has been out for almost a year. Famitsu shares a look at a recent nation-wide tournament that took place, to decide which team is the strongest.

 

 

The national tournament, called “BBCP Ultimate Team Decisive Battle: My Team Is The Strongest” took place recently in Shinjuku, Tokyo, where players from all around Japan gathered to prove who has the strongest BlazBlue: Chronophantasma team.

 

For those of you who don’t want any spoilers on who’ll win, skip the next part. Otherwise, those of you who’d like to check out any particular fights, the video starts out with well-played Valkenhayn mirror match.

 

At the 4:30 mark, we get to see a very hardworking Hakumen go against the Valkenhayn from the previous match. At 7:30 we’re treated to a very talented Hazama, who is known for being rather tough to control, against the Hakumen from earlier.

 

At 11:20, one of the better Litchi players we’ve seen, goes up against the talented Hazama. From 15:05, we get to see a match-up of Ragna against Litchi. Ragna’s impressive combo he pulls off in the first round, is definitely worth noting for you Ragna players out there. Finally, at 19:45 we get to see Litchi continue her fight as she goes up against the speedy Taokaka, who shows off some new moves.
